On March 11, 2024, the LP DISPLAY industrial park in Zhuzhou, Hunan, had its grand opening, where relevant leaders, guests, and media witnessed this remarkable moment for LP DISPLAY!
Chairman Dai Zhiming delivered a welcome speech, sharing the challenges and stories encountered during the construction process of the industrial park project. The solid manufacturing foundation and high-quality talent pool accumulated over the years in Zhuzhou High-tech Zone made him firmly choose Zhuzhou. The total investment in the Zhuzhou industrial park project is 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 45 acres, with a new construction area of over 60,000 square meters.
The park will be launched in three phases: the first phase, which is set to start production this year, is expected to achieve an annual output of 50,000 square meters of Micro-LED-COB display panels, with an estimated output value of 800 million yuan. Once all three phases are in operation by 2025, the annual production is expected to reach 150,000 square meters of Micro-LED-COB display panels, with an estimated output value of about 2 billion yuan, providing employment opportunities for over a thousand people. The official launch of the park also fulfills Chairman Dai's hometown dream. Finally, Chairman Dai expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests and friends present.
Xing Yimin, Chairman of Ningbo GQY Video & Telecom Joint-Stock Co., Ltd., was also present to witness the grand opening ceremony and extended his congratulations and best wishes to LAMP Display Technology on its official production launch.
Professor Zhang Peng from Shenzhen University shared with everyone present the current research topics of the institute. The Zhuzhou park has also established a branch of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology at Shenzhen University, relying on the research and development center located at the Shenzhen headquarters. Both the Shenzhen headquarters and the research institute at Shenzhen University focus on the fields of AI image algorithm display control management and information visualization, possessing multiple national-level invention patents and significant scientific and technological achievements. The Zhuzhou branch mainly undertakes the task of converting the achievements of industry-university-research collaboration by leveraging the research resources of Zhuzhou and the strong intelligent manufacturing capabilities of Hunan Lanjing.
Secretary General Hong Zhen expressed his recognition of LAMP Display Technology's strength, mentioning that he is one of the witnesses from its early startup phase to the operational launch of the industrial park. He affirmed LP Display's leadership in the industry and wished for its continued success, while also calling on peers to join forces in helping China’s LED display shine even brighter on the international stage!
Wu Lingyun, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhuzhou High-tech Zone and Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianyuan District, shared stories about his collaboration with LP Display and expressed his wishes and expectations for the industrial park. The LAMP Display Technology Industrial Park will also contribute new momentum towards realizing the beautiful blueprint of "three highs and four news."
