On April 7th, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology released the "Announcement on the Proposed List of Engineering Technology Research Centers for 2023 in Guangdong Province." Among them, LP Display was awarded the designation of "Guangdong Province Micro LED Ultra-High Definition Display Engineering Technology Research Center."

The aim is to thoroughly implement the innovation-driven development strategy, strengthen the construction of enterprise R&D institutions, support technological innovation in enterprises, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and guide and serve the recognized engineering centers in playing a leading and exemplary role in industrial innovation and development.

The Zhuzhou LP Display Technology Industrial Park is located in the national high-tech industrial park of Zhuzhou City. The total investment for the project is 1 billion RMB, covering an area of 45 acres, with a new construction area of over 60,000 square meters. The project is scheduled to officially commence production on March 11, 2024. The overall project is divided into three phases, and it is expected that after full production is achieved in the second half of 2025, it will have an annual output of 150,000 square meters of Micro-LED-COB display panels, with an anticipated annual output value of 2 billion RMB.
