Chairman Dai Zhiming of Lpdisplay delivered an important speech at the 2024 Hangjia Conference

On February 28, 2024, the 2024 Hangjia Conference on the Incremental Market Analysis of LED Displays kicked off in Shenzhen, bringing together many industry leaders and experts.


Lpdisplay, as an LED display brand, was invited to attend the conference. Chairman Dai Zhiming delivered a speech on the topic "Development and Prospects of LED Dynamic Reusable Pixel Technology Based on COB and COG Panels." In his speech, Mr. Dai shared insights from three aspects: first, the promotion and application of Lpdisplay's patented three-pixel dynamic reuse technology, second, the company's in-depth layout in the research and manufacturing of COB, and third, the discussion of different dynamic pixel technology routes based on COB and COG.

Lpdisplay has always been actively engaged in the layout of flip chip COB technology, promoting the development of the Mini/Micro LED field. The most notable feature of Lpdisplay's Micro full flip chip common cathode COB display panel is its use of a patented spatial pixel imaging technology with super resolution. The core of this patent is pixel reorganization, which disassembles and recombines the industry-standard "array" pixel layout, typically composed of red, green, and blue grouped together, starting from the pixel points. This results in an efficient structure that forms a "network-matrix" with monochrome pixels as shared nodes. In conventional industry design, 27 light beads form 9 groups of pixels with a spacing of 1.5625mm, however, Lpdisplay's solution disrupts this arrangement, reorganizing the 27 light beads into 81 groups of pixels, thereby reducing the pixel spacing to 0.52mm.


The technology based on COB/COG dynamic pixel reuse can reduce costs and increase efficiency by lowering the number of pixels and optimizing algorithms, while virtual physical pixels allow for complete image display. However, the display effect can still be affected by factors such as PM driving methods, pixel arrangements, and board space. In this regard, Chairman Dai proposed a vision for the development and integration of glass substrates and AM driving methods.



Lpdisplay's Micro LED COB-related project has been approved as a key funding project by Shenzhen Technology Public Relations and has garnered widespread attention and coverage from the industry and media. The company has obtained multiple domestic and international invention patents for its three-pixel spatial dynamic reuse technology, showcasing its cutting-edge product technology and design research and development capabilities. This encompasses various aspects, including unit structure installation, COB packaging adhesive film processes, COB testing, and image processing solutions.
